オプションOption
「上級者向け」の設定は、オプションダイアログの左下の「上級者向け設定」をONにすると、ダイアログ左部の「設定の対象」の一覧の中に現れます。
Advanced settings appear when you turn on "Advanced" at the bottom left of the Options dialog.

Windows8では画像/動画/音楽の関連付けの多くが、Windows8の全画面アプリのフォト/ビデオ/ミュージックに設定されています。
このオプションがONの場合は、これらを使わず、本来の既定の関連付けを使います。
Windows8.1 Update以降ではこのオプションは関係ありません。
（Windows8.1 Updateからは、ユーザーごとの既定の関連付けは、フォト/ビデオ/ミュージックではなくなり、フォトビューアーとWindows Media Playerに変わったようです）
In Windows 8, many of the image / video / music associations are set to Photo / Video / Music in the Windows 8 full screen app.
When this option is ON, it does not use them, but uses the default association.
This option has no effect on Windows 8.1 Update and later.

フォルダツリーの根本のデスクトップにあるOneDriveをフォルダツリーに表示しないようにします。
ONであってもファイル一覧には表示されます。
Do not show OneDrive at the root desktop of the folder tree.
It does not affect the file list.

Windows8以降は「PC」の直下にドライブと一緒にメディアサーバーも自動的に現れてしまいます。
このオプションがONの場合は、「PC」の直下のメディアサーバーをツリーに表示しないようになります。
ONであってもファイル一覧には表示されます。

- システムフォルダをツリーに表示しないDon't show system folder in folder tree

Windows8.1以降では「PC」の直下にドキュメントやピクチャなどのユーザーフォルダが存在しています。
ユーザーフォルダですが、種類は「システムフォルダ」という名称になっているようです。
このオプションがONの場合は、「PC」の直下のシステムフォルダ（つまりユーザーフォルダ）をツリーに表示しないようになります。
ONであってもファイル一覧には表示されます。
Documents and pictures are not displayed directly under the PC folder in folder tree.

- ファイル一覧のソートはドライブ優先にせずツリーと同じFile list sort is same as folder tree

OFFのとき、PC直下のファイル一覧は、名前順でソートするときにドライブが上位に来るようになっています。これは秀丸ファイラーClassic独自の判断です。
ONの場合、フォルダツリーやエクスプローラと同様の順番になります。
Name sorting of file list is same as folder tree or explorer.
