[ヘルプ]→[最新バージョンの確認]より最新バージョンの確認ができます。
スクリプトが実行され、wscript.exeというプログラムがネットワークにアクセスします。
wscript.exeは、Windowsに標準に付属しているスクリプトを実行するプログラムです。
正式版のみを対象としていて、β版は確認に含まれません。
β版がある場合のダウンロードはこちら

最新バージョンの確認はMicrosoftストアで行います。Microsoftストアで自動更新が有効になっている場合は、適切なタイミングで自動更新されます。
[ヘルプ]→[最新バージョンの確認]を選ぶと、Microsoftストアのページを開くことができます。

If automatic updating is enabled in the Microsoft store, it will be updated automatically at the appropriate time.
