インストール方法How to install: Windows XP 以降が必要です。
インストーラ(hmfilerclassicXXX_signed.exe)を起動してインストールできます。

ファイラー本体はそのまま使えます。
秀丸エディタ V8.02以降がインストールされていると、秀丸エディタの[その他]→[動作環境]→[ファイル]から、「秀丸ファイラーClassic」を選ぶことができるようになります。

アンインストール方法How to uninstall: Windows XPの場合、コントロールパネルから「プログラムの追加と削除」を開いて、秀丸ファイラーClassicを選んでください。

Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1の場合、コントロールパネルから「プログラムのアンインストール」を選んで、秀丸ファイラーClassicを選んでください。

Windows 10の場合、Windowsの「設定」の「アプリと機能」にありますが、32bit版と64bit版の両方がある場合、片方しか出ないようです。スタートメニューを右クリックしてコントロールパネルを選び、「プログラムのアンインストール」から行うと確実です。

Windows 11の場合、Windowsの「設定」の「インストールされているアプリ」にあります。Windows10と同様に、32bit版と64bit版の両方がある場合、片方しか出ないようです。ビルド22523からはコントロールパネルからの選択も無くなってしまったので、どちらかだけを選択してアンインストールはできません。先に現れる64bit版をアンインストール、もう一度「インストールされているアプリ」から、32bit版をアンインストール、とする必要があります。
[ツール]→[設定内容の保存/復元...]で設定を退避しておくと、再インストールして設定の復元が可能です。

In case of Windows 10, it is in "Apps and Features" of "Settings", but when there are both 32bit version and 64bit version, it seems that only one is out. Right-click on the Start menu, select Control Panel, and then "Uninstall a program".
古いバージョンの秀丸ファイラーClassicを新しい秀丸ファイラーClassicに置き換える場合 How to update: まず、新しい秀丸ファイラーClassicをインストールする時は、古い秀丸ファイラーClassicが現在動いてないことを確認してください。常駐も終了させてください。
秀丸ファイラーClassicの常駐はタスクバーの隅にあるので、クリックしてメニューから終了させてください。
そして、インストールと同じ手順でインストールしてください。
以前の設定は、古い物がそのまま使えます。

インストール方法How to install: 秀丸ファイラーClassic(ストアアプリ版)は、Microsoftストアからインストールします。
インストーラはありません。
Please go to Microsoft store to install Hidemaru Filer Classic (StoreApp).
アンインストール方法How to uninstall: アンインストールは、Windowsの「設定」の「アプリと機能」、またはスタートメニューにある「秀丸ファイラーClassic(ストアアプリ版)」を右クリックしてアンインストールします。
Please select uninstall from "Apps and Features" in "Settings" of Windows.
Or Right-click the app from the start menu and select Uninstall.
