Store App Version
The store app version can switch between the 32 bit version and the 64 bit version by setting.
[Tool]-[Option]-[Advanced]-[Store App]

64bit版のWindowsで32bit版の秀丸ファイラーClassicを使われる場合は、幾つか注意点があります。
64bit版のWindowsで64bit版の秀丸ファイラーClassicを使われる場合は、問題はありません。
32bit版のWindowsで32bit版の秀丸ファイラーClassicを使われる場合も、問題はありません。

32bitアプリ内で動くDLLの問題
64bit版Windowsで32bit版のアプリを使うときは、シェル拡張（エクスプローラの拡張機能）の違いがあります。例えば、32bit版だけで使えるコンテキストメニュー拡張や、64bit版だけで使えるコンテキストメニュー拡張があります。
シェル拡張だけでなく、一般的な常駐系アプリ（例えばキー操作を変えるユーティリティ）などで違いがある可能性もあります。
これらは32bitアプリのプロセス内で、DLLというプログラムそのものが動くため違いがあります。


System32の問題
32bit版アプリからSystem32（C:\Windows\System32）のフォルダを見ると、実際にはSyswow64（C:\Windows\Syswow64）の内容を表示しています。
秀丸ファイラーClassicの場合はファイル一覧上部に注目バーが表示され、違いがあることがわかるようになっています。

V1.30未満では拡張子.msiのファイルは何かのインストーラのファイルですが、関連付けがSystem32配下のプログラムのため、32bitアプリ上でmsiを実行すると、インストーラはSyswow64配下のものが実行されてしまい、インストーラによっては32bit Windowsにインストールするものとして動いてしまうことがありました。
V1.30以降ではmsiを実行しようとするときだけは警告を出し、操作を選択するように対策があります。

msiだけは特別扱いしていますが、他にもSystem32のプログラムへの関連付けがあるものについては違いがある可能性があります。


バーチャルストアの問題は無し
秀丸エディタでは32bit版では、Program Files (x86)の書き込みが仮想化されるバーチャルストアがありますが、秀丸ファイラーClassicの場合はバーチャルストアは最初からありません。
また、バーチャルストアが存在する場合、ファイル一覧上部に表示されてわかりやすいようになっています。
ストアアプリ版
ストアアプリ版は、AppData配下を見ることができないため、バーチャルストアがあるかどうかの注目バーの表示もありません。
（ちなみに秀丸エディタでは互換性のためにバーチャルストアがありますが、[その他]→[動作環境]→[32bit版]でVirtualStoreを無効にできます）


ショートカットの問題
分かりにくい問題として、ショートカットファイル（.lnk）の解釈の問題があります。
例えば、スタートメニューやデスクトップのフォルダを開いたとき、各種アプリのショートカットがあります。
32bitアプリ上では、ショートカットのリンク先が「C:\Program Files」配下になっているものが、勝手にWindowsによって「C:\Program Files (x86)」に変わって振る舞うということがあります。
そのため、リンク先が見つからなかったり、64bit版アプリを起動したつもりが32bit版アプリが起動するということがあります。
V1.34以降では、ファイル一覧のショートカットを実行しようとすると、警告が出て操作を選択する対策があります。
64bit版の場合は、リンク先が「C:\Program Files」でも「C:\Program Files (x86)」でも正確に働きます。



 If you are using the 32-bit version of Hidemaru Filer Classic on a 64-bit version of Windows, there are a few things that you should be concerned about.

Shell extension differences
The 32-bit app loads a 32-bit shell extension.
For example, there is a difference in the context menu extension.


System32
System32 (C:\Windows\System32) actually displays the contents of Syswow64 (C:\Windows\Syswow64).


Virtual store
Hidemaru Filer Classic has no problem because the virtual store does not work.
If there is a virtual store in the folder under "C:\Program Files (x86)", the attention bar is displayed.
Store App Version
The Store App version can not see under AppData, so there is no display of the attention bar whether or not there is a virtual store.



Shortcut(.lnk) of Program Files
The link destination of the shortcut may be automatically converted from "C: \ Program Files" to "C:\Program Files (x86)".
This is done automatically by Windows.
